A new year is approaching. And with that comes a bucketload of resolutions we put on ourselves: Get healthier, eat better, go back to school, etc. But it doesn't end there! Us bookworms also make book/reading resolutions. Book sets we want to finish, authors we want to meet, genres we want to try, and more! So, for 2018, these are my Bookworm Resolutions

1. Tackle a Book that intimidates me
I tell ya, IT by Stephen King has been weighing down my bookshelf for quite some time. I am determined to get to it this year. Have you seen it? It's MASSIVE!

2. Complete a series!
I am notorious for completing book one in a series and then never getting beyond that. I am DETERMINED to finally finish one of the many sets of series' sitting on my bookshelf.

3. Be more adventurous with my reading
2017 has been a year of stepping out of my norm with my reading and I have no regrets! I have discovered some fantastic authors, characters, and books.  I will continue to broaden my reading horizon!

4. Read Diary of Anne Frank

5. Write more DISCUSSION posts.
More blog related than reading related but it's a bookworm resolution!

6. Attend a book signing.
So many of my favourite authors stop through Toronto which is only a stone's throw away from me. I need to finally go out and meet some of them!

7. Read a Graphic novel

8.  Read more classics
Ugh, this one makes it on every resolution list...

9. Read at least 30 books from my own bookshelves!
I have far too many unread books that I own. I should challenge myself to read 10 before I'm allowed to buy another book!

10.  Relax!
I definitely put a lot of pressure on myself this year to read as many books as I could and reading started to feel like work and I actually fell into quite a few reading slumps because of that. In 2018, I plan to be more relaxed and just go with the flow.
