 Beholding Bee
I would love to see Mackenzie Foy as Bee!
Mackenzie Foy Hot

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1)
I would love to see this hit the TV World. I think it has so much story line that I think a TV show would do this book justice!

Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone
Another one I would love to see on the TV Screen. I think this book has so much suspense and thrill, that putting it one TV and leaving the audience on the edge of their seat, week after week would be perfect for this book!

The Demonologist
Move over Exorcist! The Demonologist is going to be the next horror classic!

Can You Survive the Zombie Apocalypse?
How cool would it be to have another hit Zombie Show(Watch out Walking Dead) but this one being interactive? Have us, the audience Tweet or Vote every week which path to take?!

The Host (The Host, #1)
I know this book already hit the big screen, but I think I would like it much more as a TV Series!

A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1)
American Horror Story: The Coven made me totally crazy for Witches! We need another good witch show!

The Longest Ride
I want to see every Nicholas Sparks book on the Big Screen!

The extraordinary journey that began in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children continues as Jacob Portman and his newfound friends journey to London the peculiar capital of the world. But in this war-torn city, hideous surprises lurk around every corner. Like its predecessor, this second novel in the Peculiar Children series blends thrilling fantasy with never-before-published vintage photography to create a one-of-a-kind reacting experience

“I liked this idea: that peculiarness wasn't a deficiency, but an abundance; that it wasn't we who lacked something normals had, but they who lacked peculiarness. That we were more, not less.”

I haven't come across a book I loved as much as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It's lovely cast of characters is a tough match to beat. However, I have to say, I just read a book I loved more, and it just happens to be Hollow City. The sequel to Miss Peregrine's, so I don't feel all that bad!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is probably one of my all time favourite reads. I have re-read it 4 times since and love my visits with the characters...my old friends. They are truly some of the most remarkable characters I have ever read. When I heard they were coming back for Hollow City to say I was excited would have been an understatement.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and see what my favourite characters were up to now!

The photos in Hollow City are just as beautifully weird as the first book. And without surprise, the author intertwines the photos flawlessly with the story. The characters burst to life immediately. Each of their personalities shining magically; Each standing out but never overshadowing one another.

I loved reading Jacob's character, and the growth of his character. Miss Peregrines children will not be the only peculiar you come across in Hollow City. You will visit many loops and come across many different characters!

Hollow City was one absolutely amazing, wild ride! Everything I hoped for and more! The wait for the final book in the series will be a long one for me!

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty: Digital HD + Short Story Comparison

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

The Movie VS The Short Story

I absolutely adored the movie and The Short Story! However, both, in my opinion were very, very different.

In the film there is no Sheryl, no traveling and no photo. There is a full list of differences; And in the short story Walter is married. However, one thing remained the same: Corky Walter! His personality is just a vibrant from the short story VS the book. I loved him in both! More so in the movie because you get to see him come alive! I love that they added a new flare to Walter in the movie.  They gave him such a colourful remake of his life!

Why Would The Secret Life of Walter Mitty be a good movie for my readers

This is BY FAR one of the most beautiful and wildly entertaining movies I have seen in a long, long(very long!) time. The amazing, eclectic soundtrack is enough reason to give this movie a go, but the pleasant story of this film will keep you entertained to the very end; And absolutely moved to the very core!

Choosing to watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty digitally gives you no excuse to miss out on this epic tale! You can take this movie with you on the go, never skipping a beat. What more reason to you need?!

Walter Mitty followed me from home to the gym, and he entertained me the whole time through!

My Thoughts on Digital HD

My favourite Digital Device is my smartphone(Samsung) for all my movies and books. It's small enough for me to tote around easily(because my purse is packed enough!) and yet still gives me a clear, crisp view of all my favourite reads and flicks!

Watching Digital HD makes it so convenient. What's better than having access to the hottest, newest releases right at your finger tips? And you can share content with all your favourite devices. The early access to media is an added perk! Google Play gives you this and more! What's not to love?

Stacking the Shelves

First, a message!

It is with a very, very heavy heart that I have to announce that my little bookstore that I worked at for 3 years; That wonderful, magical place that I called a home away from home has been pushed to close it's doors in May. The book industry is just not what it once was. We are merging into a digital world, and the book world is following suit. It is a sad time for us right now while our Booksmarts family is making this transition. Let's have a little moment for all the little bookstores out there that are trying to make it and for the ones that put up an amazing fight!
