What Are YOU Reading?

Who's sick of Winter?

image

I honestly feel like such a negative Nancy lately(no offence to the Nancy's out there!). Christmas is over but the ba-humbug-ing has not hit the road. I am groaning and grumbling every day as I look outside the winter. We are either getting slammed with a snow, ice, hail, whatever storm, or on the clear days we do have, it is too damn cold to do anything without your face freezing off!

Ok! Negativity aside, how is everyone Else's Winter going? Getting some great reading done? I honestly thing that is the only perk this Winter has had for me. I have read some wonderful books so far, ranging from Contemporary Romance(I'm talking about you Nicholas Sparks) and some Mystery & Thriller's(Stephen King anyone?) and of course some Young Adult. But what I really want to know is what YOU are reading?

Any great new authors I should check out? Did you stumble across a riveting series that I simply must read? I WANT TO KNOW!

Let's kick these Winter Blues together, huh?!

  1. Hahah, I've never hated winter so much until this year! How far north do you live? I'm in PA, and while we haven't gotten massive amounts of snow all at once, it basically at least flurries here every other day, if not way worse. But you're right, on the bright side, I've gotten through some pretty good books, including reading the Divergent series in its entirety for the first time. We should start a prayer group for spring. I think everyone in the entire US would be on board with that!

    1. Yes!! A Spring Prayer Group, let's do it! I've had enough of this cold, white stuff. I am in Canada, so it's been pretty rough. I don't remember a winter like this...ever! It's been BRUTAL!

  2. I'm not, cause well, there is no winter here lmao. It's either hot or really hot. Weather here is quite constant. As for series or books I've read that I've loved, I'd recommend The Emperor's Edge by Lindsay Buroker, if you like fantasy. The first book is free on amazon :) Also, Sleepless by Tracey Ward, excellent romance.

  3. Yesterday I was walking through a blizzard to get my kids to school. So not cool! I am finally getting around to reading the Lunar Chronicles. I'm on the first book and so far so good.
