A to Z Bookish Survey

I came across this fun survey over at the epic Perpetual Page Turner blog. Like how amazing is that blog! It was so much fun to read, so I thought I would participate in it, too!

Author you’ve read the most books from:

Definitely Nicholas Sparks! He is my guilty pleasure. I love a good romantic story and definitely a good sob from time to time!

Best Sequel Ever:

New Moon. I don't care what anyone says, I loved the Twilight Series, and although New Moon was the least loved book, I personally loved it!

Currently Reading:

Stained by Cheryl Rainfield...Loving it!

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Oh, definitely tea! Either Green, or Chocolate Chai.

E-reader or Physical Book?

Physical, for sure! I still lug around giant hardcover's in my purse.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

John for Dear John by Nicholas Sparks or Adam from If I Stay by Gayle Forman

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusack

Hidden Gem Book:

Beholding Bee by Kimberly Newton Fusco

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Aside from getting a job at a small, amazing Bookstore. It would definitely be starting up this blog. My bookshelves have grown tremendously since!

Just Finished:

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Erotica. I don't usually swear off a genre, but the ones I have read, just didn't appeal to me.

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer

Major book hangover because of:

The Book Thief. The book just tore me apart emotionally!

Number of Bookcases You Own:

I own 2 giant built in ones that surround my fireplace. And then 3 other ones(that are full). My walk-in closet is now subbing for a bookshelf.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

Preferred Place To Read:

This changes by the season.
Summer: Outside on the deck or porch
Spring: On the Porch with a blanket
Fall: Porch or by the window
Winter: Couch by Fireplace

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

“You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not.”   - Jodi Picoult
“So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.”   -Nicholas Sparks
“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”   - Cassandra Clare
