
Top Ten Books I Wish Were Taught In School

A powerful character cast dealing with everyday life. A realistic book all teenagers could relate to.

A beautiful outlook on life and self discovery.

Teenagers from all walks of life and that were raised to be enemies with one another, coming together.

A time where bullying is taking over schools, this book would be perfect for victims, bullies and bystanders to read. To relate, learn and grow from it.

Living in a digital generation. The Internet has proven to be great but also extremely dangerous.

Abusive relationships do not just happen in adult relationships. Teenagers finding themselves in a difficult situation may be able to recognize the signs of abuse and seek help.

An unfortunate outcome of a high school student being bullied.

A drastic decision made by 2 teenagers. It's important to teach kids/teenagers to seek help when they need it and to not be afraid.


This was a tough one! There are so many to chose from, but I feel these ones had the strongest impact on me and I know Teens would benefit from reading them. Sometimes it just takes a book to show you that you are not alone.
Ooh I'm going to have to add some of these books to my TBR pile. They look brilliant :-) Great list!

ReplyDeleteNice list! I'd definitely read The Fault In Our Stars, required or otherwise! :D And I thought Thirteen Reasons Why was pretty rad too :D Speak depressed me quite a bit, but it was an amazing book, in my opinion. So yeah, some great picks :)
