Sometimes Living in the Big Apple Really Bites!
Eighteen-year-old rock star Sam Lee isn't like other girls. She's the super-talented bass player and songwriter for an all-girl indie band and an incurable loner. Then one night after a concert in Central Park, she's attacked by a wild dog.

Suddenly, this long-time vegetarian is craving meat--the bloodier, the better. Sam finds herself with an unbelievable secret and no one she trusts to share it. And so begin the endless lies to cover up the hairy truth...

When a new girl gang appears in the city--with claws and paws--Sam suspects there's a connection to her own inner beast. Trapped in a tug-of-war between her animal and human selves, forced to choose between the guy who sparked her carnal appetite and the one who makes her feel like a normal teenage girl, Sam has to unravel the mysteries of the werewolf world before her bandmates, her mother, and the media catch up to her.

Wowy! What a wild and amazing ride this book was! Music, a strong female lead, and a dash of paranormal...How can it get any better?!

This is my first novel by Emily Pohl-Weary but I can tell you that I am already adding her previous work to my Fall/Winter Reading list. Her writing style, character development and delivery were all flawless, and she instantly made me a fan!

Sam is definitely not your ordinary female character. She is strong and independent. She lets no one tell her what to do. She knows what she wants and she gets it. These qualities radiate off the pages, and instantly make you envious of her; Wanting to follow in her footsteps and take charge of your dreams. She was crafted with such a fun loving spirit! You can't help yourself but fall in love with her! She gave the book so much umph!

Just when I thought I was done with Paranormal books for now, Not Your Ordinary Wolf Girl came along, and gave me exactly what I was looking for! A book with a with a unique flare and a brand new twist on the world of werewolves!

Not Your Ordinary Wolf Girl went far beyond my expectations. Pohl-Weary's writing style added so much depth to this story line and in the end, resulted in me devouring the novel in one sitting!

A fun and witty reading experience!

  2. Adhesive tape, although the tape for pest control is not new, but it has effective results, especially when choosing high-quality tapes, and it can be used by placing it around cracks, holes, floorboards and any other places through which cockroaches can enter the home, and it is preferable to place these Night tapes because cockroaches are often most active at night
