Book Blogger Confessions: Conquering Mount To be Read

Conquering 'Mount To Be Read Pile'

I am taking a trip this Summer! A really long but wonderous one! One full of adventure; Rolling hills, Romance, Young love, self discovery...This summer I am hiking up a Mountain. Which one you ask? Well 'Mount To Be Read Pile'! It is the biggest Mountain of all, stacked to the very sky and it lives right in my living room!

Magical pathway..:)

That's right guys. This summer I am hoping to at least make a dent in my ever, ever growing To Read pile. Why do I keep buying books, when I have so many amazing books waiting to get read? It is a question not even the most philosophical can answer!

I am trying to divide my time up this Summer between Review books and Personal books. There have been some bumps in the road, but so far, it is going smoothly!

Some of the books I hope to still tackle before the summer is over:

This is not even a fraction of them, but ones I have been dying to read for quite a while!

What do you think I should read next?

Are you tackling Mount To Be Read this Summer?

  1. Twenty Boy Summer & Before I Fall are two books I can REALLY recommend. Hopefully you'll love them as much as I did!

  3. Great idea! I really need to tackle my pile to, but I keep buying more books than I can read.. I'm thinking about a book buying ban for a short period.

    I recommend reading:
-Entwined, one of my favorite retellings from that particular fairytale.
-Everneath, I was surprised by this book.

  4. Sounds like a fantastic summer plan!

I do the same, keep buying when I still have ones I want to read, but buying books is such a wonderful feeling.

  5. OMG this is something I must do, I've started not signing up to as much tours and not accepting as much books for reviews, and not requesting as much from Netgalley and Edelweiss because I've got so many personal books I want to get through :( but it seems each time I finish a review book another one is due up soon so I read another review book :(

I really need to make more of a "plan".

Great plan and hope you do well!
