Books I Wish I Could Read for the First time Again

Book Jealousy. It happens to me a lot! Especially because I work at a bookstore. When a customer comes in and asks "Do you have this book?" I can't help but get excited for them and practically run out to the shelf to grab it for them. I simply can't help but tell them how amazing it is, and I hope they love it as much as I did! This got me thinking that I actually am Jealous of them. They get to read this book for the very first time, and experience how wonderful it is. Yes, I re-read my favourites, but nothing beats that feeling you got the first time you experienced that plot twist or tearful moment. There is nothing like reading a book for the first time!

Books I Wish I Could Read for the First Time Again

Revolution
This book stole my soul! I have never had a reading experience quite like the one I had while reading this! The characters, the story line...So powerful!

 Beholding Bee
Enchanting and so very magical. Characters that will become forever friends. Such a lovely novel that will have you laughing and crying at the same time!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower
I re-read this one any chance I get. But nothing will compare to the feelings I had when I first completed it. So simple yet so powerful!

Between Shades of Gray
Heart-wrenching but so beautifully told. I can't help but have book jealousy when I know a person will get to meet Lina for the very first time!

If I Stay (If I Stay #1)
Another one I re-read often, and I come away with a new feeling each time. I just wish I could experience this one with fresh eyes all over again!

Of course, there are many others, but you'll have to stay tuned for Part 2!

  1. Oh! I'm planning on getting Revolution from my library, so great to hear that it's on your list! And I also bought Between Shades of Grey and haven't had too much time to get to it, sadly. ): But hopefully soon!

  2. Between Shades of Gray is one of my favourite books of all time. I've re-read it and I have to say I enjoyed it just as much the second time around, despite knowing what was going to happen.

Also, If I Stay and Perks are both amazing books that deserve to be re-read.

I definitely wish I could un-read some of my favourite books just to experience them again for the first time!
