The wait is FINALLY over. I couldn't wait to get to the Theatre to see the final installment of the very much loved and successful Twilight Saga. I opted on a Tuesday Matinee because I didn't feel like battling the crowd and the lines, and the super busy Theatre. I reserved my seats ahead of time, so I could just go and enjoy the movie.
The Beginning: I loved the introduction to Bella as a Vampire. I thought it was very smoothly done and paced perfectly. One thing I noticed is that the Special Effects looked a lot better for this film. Not that they were that bad in the others, but the running and fighting scenes would tend to get blurry to mimic the vampires' and wolves' speed. However in this installment, I noticed everything was much clearer and well done. One thing I loved about the Twilight Saga was the romance, and I was so glad to see that despite it's PG-13 rating, they didn't hold back on Bella and Edward's sexual chemistry. It was nice to see Edward so relaxed and not have to worry about "breaking" Bella *clears throat*
The introduction to Renesmee was an emotional one for me. I was worried if Kristen Stewart would be able to play the part of a Mother. That is a hard role to play for any actress to play, but Kristen Stewart did a fantastic job! Edward and Bella made very believable and wonderful parents.
The Middle: Okay now that Irina has blabbed her big mouth to the Volturi, much of the middle of the movie is spent gathering the other clans and introducing them to Renesmee. I loved the sharing of each Clan's stories. And thought that every clan member was perfectly casted! I found myself getting emotional as well as Kristen was piecing together the evidence of Alice's message.
The End: Okay, that is enough babbling! We all know from the books how Breaking Dawn should have ended, but it was given away in the trailers for the movie, that we can expect to see a showdown between the Cullen's and their friends, and the Volturi. I could hardly contain myself during the final fight scene. My experience during that scene contained 5 VERY intense reactions:
Complete and utter shock

Anger
After having multiple heart palpitations, the fight scene was over. Trying to remain spoiler free I am going to do my best to wrap it up in a nutshell without giving much away. The last installment of the Twilight Saga was the best one in my opinion. My favourite will always remain Twilight because that's the one that started it all, but when it comes to a heart-pumping, action-packed story line, Breaking Dawn Part 2 takes the cake. I was not only left completely and utterly surprised by the ending of this film but I couldn't help but let my emotions get the best of me either. Yes, I cried at the ending! It's over, and I think the entire cast and crew couldn't have wrapped up the installment any more perfectly.
It's a bittersweet ride. Breaking Dawn was my favourite book out of all of them, and in my opinion, they did the book wonderful justice.
