Top 5 Witch Movies

Eye of Newt, Toe of a Dead Man and one bat wing...Spells, broomsticks and magic! Don't witches rock?! Here are some of my favourite witch movies.

A young boy stumbles onto a witch convention and must stop them, even after he has been turned into a mouse.

Sally and Gillian Owens have always known they were different. Raised by their aunts after their parents' death, the sisters grew up in a household that was anything but typical--their aunts fed them chocolate cake for breakfast and taught them the uses of practical magic.

Three single women in a picturesque village have their wishes granted - at a cost - when a mysterious and flamboyant man arrives in their lives.

A newcomer to a Catholic prep high school falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft and they all soon conjure up various spells and curses against those who even slightly anger them.

After 300 years, three sister witches are resurrected in Salem Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it us up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to the witches reign of terror once and for all.

  1. I agree completely. Those of some of my all time favorite witch movies...I would also include Harry Potter and Simply Irresistible.

  2. Hocus Pocus was definitely my favorite Halloween movie when I was young!

  3. LOL! I love everyone of these movies. They are wonderful.

  4. Great list! I love Practical Magic! and the Craft, and Witches of Eastwick. :)
Have you seen The Covenant? It's about teenage male witches - but still - very cool... Also, a classic from the 80s - Teen Witch. :)
