Hop, Hop, Hoppin'!

Question of the Week: If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

A would write myself as the heroine in a kick ass zombie book!

Question of the Week: “What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”

Breaking Dawn and The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I think those were the biggest.

Question of the Week: The Reviews We Don't Write:
Have you ever read a book and not wanted to review it? Are some books too personal that we want to keep our thoughts our own?

Hmm... There have definitely been books that I connected with so much that I didn't know how I would even write a review. How do you explain how touched you were by a novel? But I Love Him by Amanda Grace was a hard one for me to review because it talks about such a sensitive subject that teenage girls and women go through everyday in their real life. Just because the characters are fictional doesn't mean that the premise isn't happening to someone else. Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult and Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly, were 2 other books that I still feel strongly connected too. I did write reviews for all these books but it wasn't easy! Instead of doing my normal reviews by breaking down the characters, the writing style and the storyline, I just simply wrote what I felt. The reviews came from my heart. Great Question!

  4. I love zombies, but I think I'd be too squeamish to actually be in one. Chopping of heads is not something I could easily do!

Just visiting. Happy Friday to you!

  5. Most people would guess I’d write myself in the role of a hero in a fictional adventure of some kind. But that would be only partially correct. As is my norm, I throw a curve ball in my answer that makes perfect sense one you follow my logic. Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and follow along the logic with me!
