Hoppin' time!

Book Blogger Hop

Question of the Week: What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?

Science Fiction and some fantasy. I just can't seem to do Sci-Fi. And I have enjoyed some fantasy novels, I just have to be picky with the genre.

Question of the Week: Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

Wow! This is a great question, although it is really hard to narrow it down to three! Well I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan so I'd have to say him. Another would be Jodi Picoult, I love her books. And lastly...J.K. Rowling. I am a late comer with the Harry Potter series but I have fallen in love with them!

Bookshelf Tour: Where do you keep your books at home? Are they organized?

This is my main bookshelf. I have 2 other bookshelves that are filled with my read/older books, but this one showcases my newer books and my series'.  It was my DVD shelf but we bought a new one, so I reused the nice space this one had for my books :D These are kept in our living room, where I spend most of my time. They aren't really organized, I just keep same authors together and series' together.

  3. I'm not a huge Sci-Fi reader, and when I do read it, it leans more toward the fantasy side like Piers Anthony's Xanth novels. And JK Rowling made my list too!

  5. A lot of people are saying JK Rowling. I haven't read the Harry Potter series, but I have to respect what she's accomplished, so that alone is worthy of an hour hang out session. :-)

  14. J.K. Rowling seems to be on everyones today! I like having distance with those I'm all fan girl over so I don't get disappointed when they are actual real to life humans that have their own issues. I know superficial right?

New follower! Thank you for doing the Dear Bully: Blogger Edition. I hope it will help many out there dealing with bullying.

  15. I won't say J.K. Rowling, I am one of the Harry Potter generation! But I've always found it hard to get into Horror as a genre, or books about Vampires and that kind of thing. I guess it's just something that's never interested me. Strange really!
