Question of the Week: This week’s question isn’t a question at all! I thought I would do things a little differently this week and give all of you a chance to promote a giveaway (or two!) from the blogosphere.
The Catch? It can't be your own giveaway!
Bonnie over at Hands and Home is giving away a copy of Bridesmaid Lotto by Rachel Astor. Sounds like a great read! Click here to check out the giveaway.
Hmm...This is really hard because I haven't read too many 'bad' books. I'd have to say 'Tales from Gundarland' by Hank Quense. It is a book of short stories and I enjoyed a few of the stories but overall the book just didn't do it for me. No disrespect to the author :)
Check out my Crazy Bookworm Survey and giveaway. I am giving away a copy of The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder. Contest is open to everyone. For survey and giveaway, click here.
*I also started a personal blog 'Naked Moments'. Feel free to stop by over there and say hi!
Happy Hoppin' everyone!
I've never heard of it, but most times short stories don't work for me either! I'm already a follower. My Friday Follow answer is up!
ReplyDeleteBooks of fictional short stories generally lose my interest, too. I'm your newest follower!

I salute all the brave souls that soldier on to finish a bad book. I could never do that. I never have and I can’t imagine I ever will.
ReplyDeleteThis week’s Follow Friday question is an excellent companion to last week’s Book Blogger Hop question.
Follow me back to my blog and read all about why I hardly ever start a bad book let alone finish one – http://www.howardsherman.net
Read both my Book Blogger Hop post last week and my Follow Friday post this week and you’ll get the bigger picture of how my mind works. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! [grin]
Thank G-d It’s Follow Friday!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI typically read short stories to test out new authors. If he/she can't write I short, then I doubt I'll enjoy a whole novel written by them.
Have a great weekend!

Hopping through. Too bad the book didn't work for you. I've never been a big fan of short story collections.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I don't take short story reviews for this reason. I also don't read a book of short stories. What if you like some and not all? I just don't like that thought.
ReplyDeleteI have had books with short stories like that. New Follower!
