Hoppin' Time

Book Blogger Hop

Question of the Week: This week’s question isn’t a question at all! I thought I would do things a little differently this week and give all of you a chance to promote a giveaway (or two!) from the blogosphere.

The Catch? It can't be your own giveaway!

Bonnie over at Hands and Home is giving away a copy of Bridesmaid Lotto by Rachel Astor. Sounds like a great read! Click here to check out the giveaway.

Question of the Week: Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

Hmm...This is really hard because I haven't read too many 'bad' books. I'd have to say 'Tales from Gundarland' by Hank Quense. It is a book of short stories and I enjoyed a few of the stories but overall the book just didn't do it for me. No disrespect to the author :)
Check out my Crazy Bookworm Survey and giveaway. I am giving away a copy of The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder. Contest is open to everyone.  For survey and giveaway, click here.
*I also started a personal blog 'Naked Moments'. Feel free to stop by over there and say hi!
Happy Hoppin' everyone!

  1. I've never heard of it, but most times short stories don't work for me either! I'm already a follower. My Friday Follow answer is up!

  2. Books of fictional short stories generally lose my interest, too. I'm your newest follower!

  10. Hi! Just stopping by from follow friday! Hope you can check out my blog :)

  11. I salute all the brave souls that soldier on to finish a bad book. I could never do that. I never have and I can’t imagine I ever will.

This week’s Follow Friday question is an excellent companion to last week’s Book Blogger Hop question.

Follow me back to my blog and read all about why I hardly ever start a bad book let alone finish one –

Read both my Book Blogger Hop post last week and my Follow Friday post this week and you’ll get the bigger picture of how my mind works. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! [grin]

    Thank G-d It’s Follow Friday!

  12. Hi!

I typically read short stories to test out new authors. If he/she can't write I short, then I doubt I'll enjoy a whole novel written by them.

    Have a great weekend!

  13. Old follower stopping by! I haven't read Tales from Gunderland, but it doesn't sound that good! Check out my Follow Friday post on my blog!

  14. Haven't ever heard of this one.

    Happy Friday! New follower :)

  15. Hopping through. Too bad the book didn't work for you. I've never been a big fan of short story collections.

  16. I don't take short story reviews for this reason. I also don't read a book of short stories. What if you like some and not all? I just don't like that thought.

  17. I have had books with short stories like that. New Follower!
