Question of the Week: How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?
When I was younger, I lived at the library! There were many days that my mother had to pry me out of there. A "quick" trip was never a quick trip! But now I purchase all my books. There are days I will sit in the book store and read a little bit of it to see if I will enjoy it, give it a little test read :P Or I receive my books from authors or publishers for review.

Family time!(With fiance and 3 dogs) I also have a 15 month old niece that I like to hang out with :P...Also I love the outdoors, especially in the summertime. I spend a lot of time outside, going for walks, hiking or biking. I also enjoy my one hour of "me" time at the gym. Oh, and of course Blogging.

Oh wow! There were and are still so many. I discover all kinds of great new blogs that inspire my blog all the time. When I first started The Crazy Bookworm, I had NO IDEA that there was a 'Book Blog' community. But a few days after I created my blog, I came across Jennifer's blog 'Crazy For Books' and Kristi's 'The Story Siren'. Those two blogs showed me what I wanted my book blog to me. A place where I can honestly express my opinion about the books I am reading, and that it is okay to not like every book you read.
I still discover so many fabulous blogs all the time, and because of that I have started a new feature called "Journey's across the Blogiverse' where I make a post from time to time listing the great new book blogs I have come across. Expect the first post for that coming soon!

Happy Hoppin'!
I go to the library pretty much every week and always come home with a stack of books ^-^ Amazon.com and Borders are my go to places for book buying.

I’m seeing a pattern of book acquisition here. After all, there are just so many places to get books and so many different ways to read them.
ReplyDeleteIt’s hard to beat the library for price and selection but it’s even harder to beat the convenience of browsing BN or Amazon from a Nook or Kindle, hitting a button and reading the book you picked in about sixty seconds.
As usual, my answer to this week’s Book Blogger Hop question is all over the map. Hop on over and read my multipart answer – http://www.howardsherman.net

ReplyDeleteI like being outside, but it is a bit too hot these days.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I work out for about an hour a day too. It's a lot of time, but it's such a habit that I don't think about it too much.
