Someone's been a very bad zombie.

Kate Grable is horrified to find out that the football coach has given the team steroids. Worse yet, the steroids are having an unexpected effect, turning hot gridiron hunks into mindless flesh-eating zombies. No one is safe--not her cute crush Aaron, not her dorky brother, Jonah . . . not even Kate!

She's got to find an antidote--before her entire high school ends up eating each other. So Kate, her best girlfriend, Rocky, and Aaron stage a frantic battle to save their town. . . and stay hormonally human

"The noise came from the direction of the cafeteria, and I had horrific mental images of zombie lunch ladies. Our lunch ladies were kind of scary to begin with. But zombie lunch ladies? Almost as scary as clowns" -Kate Grable

You might have noticed by now that The Crazy Bookworm loves Zombie's about as much as they love brraaiinns. When I first heard about this novel, I was instantly excited to read it.

High school, romance AND Zombies? That is my kind of book, and Bad Taste in Boys gave me the fix I was looking for, with a a lot extra. I was almost positive that I was going to love this book just by hearing about it. The gorgeous cover, the unique premise, and the funny book trailer immediately sold me. But the book had so much more that I wasn't expecting. First off, the hilarious humour. I don't think there was one page that didn't make me laugh out loud or shake my head in amazement. Then the great characters. Kate was a perfect lead character. She was super funny, smart, and could kick butt when she needed too. Her little brother Jonah had a great sense of humour as well, and even though he wasn't the strong and brooding type, he did everything he did to protect his sister, which earned major brownie points with me!

This book was the perfect summer read. It was a light novel but a wild ride, sure to give you a very entertaining reading experience! Even if you are not a big fan of Zombie's this is still a great book for you. Bad Taste in Boys will have you devouring the book dying to know what the outcome will be.
