Book Blogger Hop

Question of the Week: “How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?”

Yikes! I think it is around 350 books now that I actually own that are waiting to be read. I can't even imagine the number of books that I don't own yet that I am dying to read. There are just to many great books out there!!

Question of the Week: Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

Young adult and light romance novels are my fave. When I say light romance I mean Nicholas Sparks books. Nothing with Fabio on the cover :P...The book that really hooked me to the young adult genre was Twilight(Yes, I am one of those girls) and Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly. I have always read Young adult from time to time in the past, but those books really hooked me to the genre! And The Notebook hooked me to light romance/Nicholas Sparks novels.

  1. I have also been reading a lot of YA lately -and agree I'm not a Fabio romance kind of girl! ;)

I have about 350 books on my goodreads TBR list but I don't know what I would do if I owned that many books that I had to read. I would probably be completely overwhelmed! Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading!

  2. I have way too many books on my TBR list and TBR pile. All told that comes to about sixty books.

Now here's the scary math: I read roughly one book per week - and sometimes two. But two to three books are being added to my TBR list every week.

    Stressful, right?

    Wrong!

Hop on over to my blog - http://www.howardsherman.net and find out why.

  3. Hey there! Just dropping by to say hi :) I'm a YA girl too, and Fabio isn't exactly my ideal mate either. I adore Nicholas Sparks books & movies because there's really nothing that can make you cry nearly as much.

And the Twilight series was the one that hooked me onto reading too! I've actually discovered so many of us that it's almost unbelievable! x)

Hope you have an awesome weekend! :)

  7. New follower hopping through! I also have a large TBR pile. I had to stop counting wish-list books because the list began reaching the thousands.

    Happy Friday!
