Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jennifer over at Crazy For Books
Question of the Week: "Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?"
Answer: I am a very eclectic reader, I don't stick just one genre. I love mixing up my reading and discovering new and different things.

Question of the Week: What makes up your non-human family??
Answer: I have three incredible, loveable dogs. Webster who is an 8 year old blue heeler cross. Bentley who is a 4 year old schnoodle and Rocky, a 2 year old black lab. They are my babies and make me so happy every day. They are hillarious, gentle pooches. I also had a 63 year old amazon parrot that my dad had since he was 2 but sadly he passed away this year.

I love fantasy :) I guess I just love to read about worlds other than my own! And we have 2 cats, and my brother, but society would say he doesn't count. ;)

I am also an eclectic reader. I read more than one genre. But there are a few genres I don't read. Come see what I do and don't read.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by and following through. I read a eclectic mix of genres though I do have favourites.
I posted a pic of our pet - come and see!

I'm definitely an eclectic reader, like you. I'll give anything a try once, so I like to think I read a wide scope.
ReplyDeleteAlready a follower of your awesome blog! :)

I also read a mix! I've never understood people having an entire genre they refuse to read - I like to take it on a book by book basis.
ReplyDeleteMy response is here: http://scatteredbookshelf.blogspot.com/2011/01/follow-friday-book-blogger-hop.html
Great answer! I like to read everything from all different genres. But, lately, I've been hooked on YA books and I just don't seem to be able to kick it haha. It's like an addiction. I throw in a random every once in a while, but for the most part, it's YA for me. Hope you'll hop on over to my blog! I was late signing up for the hop this week!

That is phenomenal--a 63-year-old parrot! They strike me as being so full of wisdom. I'm also an eclectic reader & love diving into different books. It gives me a well-rounded type of education ;) Old follower hopping by! Here's my post.
ReplyDeleteI don't just stick to one genre either. Although I do read mainly YA books at the moment, because of my blog, I also read a lot of adult novels. All sub-genres apply :)
ReplyDeleteYour dogs sound adorable - you probably already know that I love dogs. I love labs especially, they're amazing dogs.
Have a great weekend!
Oh, and I forgot to say thank you for following my blog! My memory is terrible today :)
ReplyDeleteI'm eclectic too. I get different things out of each genre- I need a little of everything to be happy!

Here I am hopping on by...
ReplyDeleteI went all over the map with this question on my blog. I read and enjoy almost every genre of fiction out there. There’s no way I could just pick one.
So I talked about all of them. Even romance fiction (sort of)! I invite you to hop over to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and see for yourself.

So I am really glad I am not the only eclectic reader. I appreciate YA fiction, but it's nice to know I'm in good company NOT sticking to just one genre. The books you have read recently look really interesting! Hopping by from http://southernfiberreads.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteJust hopping through and hoping you're enjoying your weekend so far. You can find my HOP answer and FEVERfest recap at The Bookish Snob
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I love the world Schnoodle! I have a Bassador - Basset/Labrador. But it doesn't have the same ring to it.
