Today's Answer

Today's Answer is a weekly meme hosted by Black Fingernailed Reviews. Every Week you select a favourite book and song. This week my favourite book is:

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. I love this book, just re-read it again for the 3rd time. It offers everything Sparks' is known for, Love, Tragedy and Small town life, but it has a little spin on things with a lot of page turning suspense!

Blurb from Book:Julie Barenson’s young husband left her two unexpected gifts before he died – a puppy named Singer and the promise that he would always be watching over her. Now, four years later, twenty-nine year-old Julie is far too young to have given up on love. She may be ready to risk caring for someone again. But who? Should it be Richard Franklin, the sophisticated, handsome engineer who treats her like a queen? Or Mike Harris, the down-to-earth nice guy who was her husband’s best friend? Choosing one of them should bring her more happiness than she’s had in years. Instead, Julie is soon fighting for her life in a nightmare spawned by a chilling deception and jealousy so poisonous that it has become a murderous desire . . . The Guardian contains all the qualities readers expect from Nicholas Sparks. But here, he adds a new electrifying intensity – and page after page of riveting suspense.

My Favourite Song this Week is: Set The Fire to the Third Bar

  2. I haven't read that book. I love Nicholas Sparks' books but I didn't like the latest I've read and watched - Dear John. I think Savannah was stupid to leave John.

My favorite movies from Sparks' books are The Notebook (hated the book) and A Walk to Remember (loved the book).

I think I might join this weekly meme. :)

  3. I've actually never read a Nicholas Sparks novel. I know lots of readers that rave about his work so I should probably give him a try.
