"Life is good" award

A Big thanks to Mandy over at Mandy's Escape for giving me this wonderful award.

To accept the award you must link back and thank the person who gave you the Life is Good award and answer the 10 questions and pass it along to 6 other blogs :) 1. If you blog anonymously are you happy doing it that way; if you are not anonymous do you wish you had started out anonymously so you could be anonymous now? I don't really blog anonymously, most people who know my blog know me as The Crazy Bookworm, but there has been times where I will mention my real name which is Cathy.

2.Describe one incident that shows your inner stubborn side: I am a very fun loving, out-going person, but I am very stubborn, once I've set my ways, it is hard for me to change or adjust them, but I try. There are so many incidents that have shown my stubborn side but I guess one that sticks to my mind is when I brought home my 3rd puppy. My boyfriend(of 5 years) made it very clear he didn't want another dog in the house, we already have two, but when we went to visit his mother(who is a dog breeder) she had this adorable 6 week old black lab with white patches, I fell in love with him and she said "Why not take him home, you can have him for free, You'll give him a good home" that was it, I didn't care how much my boyfriend argued with his mom, that dog wasn't leaving my arms, and he didn't speak to me on the whole car ride home, but I wouldn't budge, this dog was coming home! And wouldn't you know it, it was like Rocky(the black lab) was born just for us, our other 2 dogs welcomed him with open paws, and my boyfriend and him became inseparable, they are best friends. So I guess that's an incident that my stubbornness payed off.

3.What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror? A Girl, Not yet a women... I see a 23 year old girl who is still trying to figure out who she really is, but is really enjoying the ride.

4. What is your favorite summer cold drink? Strawberry Daiquiri or a Sangria

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do? Read, Go for a long walk with my dogs, Take a bath, or watch a good ol' movie.

6.Is there something you still want to accomplish in your life? What is it? Complete and publish my young adult book, and maybe another book after that :D

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever , the shy person, or always ditching? I was an average girl, I am guilty of ditching a little bit. I wasn't an overachiever. I just coasted along, made decent grades and loved everyone. I never hung around with a clique, I was friends with everyone. 8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment of your life what would you see? When I was 16 years old, I got very sick an had to be hospitalized, My lungs got a horrible infection and doctors didn't think I was going to make it. I was in the hospital for almost 3 months, My mom stayed with me every minute of those 3 months, she helped me get healthy again. I made it through that experience because of her. Second would be when I met my boyfriend, It was love at first sight, yes I know that's corny but it is very true.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people or events? I can't help but not be myself. No matter what I write, my true self will always peer through.

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read or talk on the phone, which would you do and why? Nothing beats being curled up reading a good book, but I will gladly interrupt that with a good chat to a friend or family member.

  3. Congratulations for winning the award Cathy!

It was fun learning more about you and I really hope you've been staying healthy. Reading #8 made me widen my eyes in concern, but your mother must have made your days in the hospital a little bit brighter.

And thank you for thinking of passing the award to me! ^_^
