About the Book:
While Olivia deBelle Byrd was repeating one of her many Southern stories for the umpteenth time, her long-suffering husband looked at her with glazed over eyes and said,“Why don’t you write this stuff down?” Thus was born Miss Hildreth Wore Brown—Anecdotes of a Southern Belle.(from the publisher)
My Thoughts: Olivia deBelle Byrds' debut novel Miss Hildreth Wore Brown had me laughing out loud repeatedly, it is tastefully written and full of wit and charm. Olivia deBelle Bryd is a true southern belle. I fell in love with every person mentioned in this book, Olivia did a wonderful job describing the colourful people she has known and come across with in her life, Even Murphy. Women need to get their hands on this book, everyone could learn a little from Olivia and the southern ways of life. This is the perfect beach/vacation read, her stories and experiences had me laughing out loud and shaking my head in amazement. Miss Hildreth Wore Brown is a phenomenal book and you will be missing out if you do not read this book.
