Twilight Saga:Eclipse Movie Review

Director: David Slade Running Time: 124 Minutes Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner Well, It is finally here! The Much anticipated third installment of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The pop culture phenomenon started when Stephenie Meyer's famous book series came to the big screen with the first installment: Twilight(2008). Then it began, Not only did Stephenie Meyer's books start flying off the shelves but it guaranteed a contract for the Second Installment: New Moon(2009). The Movie came with a New Director(Chris Weitz) and a new budget. The movie blew up, shattering box office records and making the careers of the young stars involved. So Now we've Come to Eclipse. This movie brought in a new directer as well, David Slade who also directed 30 Days of Night. Plot: As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob.(From IMDB.com) My Thoughts: This was a movie I couldn't wait to see. I am a big fan of the books, and I loved the first 2 movie installments. With Eclipse being my favourite book out of the 4, I was dying to know how it was going to come together. Eclipse did not disappoint. David Slade did a beyond fantastic job with the whole entire movie, the characters, the storyline, the visuals, etc. I can honestly say that I left this movie with no complaints, I was left completely satisfied. Taylor Lautner's acting skills really shined bright in this movie. Eclipse called for a more emotional part for Jacob's Character and Lautner definitely delivered. Robert Pattinson of course did another amazing job portraying the character we all fell in love with, Edward. In Eclipse not everything goes perfect for Bella and Edward, They do experience some "Trouble in Paradise". The Whole entire cast delivered in this movie. I could go on and on about each individual person but that take up so much space, they all did such a wonderful Job. It was great to see the back story on Rosalie, Jasper and the Wolf Packs Legends. The Wolf Pack was great and came with two new additions to the pack, Leah and Seth Clearwater, although their parts in this installment was minimal they still did a great job and I look forward to seeing them in the next 2 films coming up. Eclipse was packed with great action, beautiful romance and dark humour. I loved this movie and it just made my anticipation for the Breaking Dawn movies even worse. I highly recommend this movie, and the previous 2 if you haven't already seen them. I give this movie

  1. My favorite book of the series was New Moon and I'm not even sure why. I should probably go back and re-read them all. :) But, I have to tell you... Eclipse is my favorite movie version so far. Robert Pattinson does a phenomenal job, as do all of the other characters. I'm right there with you... LOVED it. :)
