I just finished watching "Julie and Julia" and I have to say that I absolutely loved it! The movie is based on 2 true stories, The life of the great chef and author of many, many French cookbooks, Julia Child. And the life of Julie Powell, a woman who decides to cook Julia child's recipes and blog about it. Be prepared to get hungry while watching this movie because after looking at every delicious recipe cooked, my mouth was watering. Meryl Streep's performance was outstanding, I was left completely satisfied. She did an incredible job portraying Julia Child. Amy Adams was fantastic as well, She made me fall in love with her character. I found this movie very inspiring. I would recommend this movie to anyone, Male or female, everyone will enjoy it. And may i add a personal suggestion...Invite some friends over, buy some wine(or whatever you like) and cook up a yummy feast, and sit down to enjoy it while enjoying this great film. Have fun!

This Book was very intense. I couldn't peel my eyes away from it. The suspense is almost unbearable, i found myself fighting back the urge to flip to the back of the book to find out what finally happens. This book had me in tears the first page and it left me sobbing by the last page. You'll feel a whack load of emotions in between. When I found out that Nicholas Sparks had written a thriller, I wasn't Sure what to think, I have to admit that i was a little skeptical, but i was proven wrong, this book was incredible, and It had me sitting on the edge of my seat almost the entire time. This book is great for dog lovers! The Guardian has made it on my favourites list for sure.

This is an incredible story, Nicholas Sparks sure knows how to write em'. The book is told by Landon Carter, A rebellious 17 year old high school student. He comes from a well known, Wealthy family. Landon wants to take an easy way out when it comes to school, So he decides to take a Drama class, with no tests, no exams, He hopes to just snooze the class away. Little did Landon know that taking this Drama class, would change his life, forever. If you should choose to read this book, be sure to have the kleenex close by, Because you will cry, and most likely more than once. Nicholas Sparks is so well known for his love stories, that tug on the heart strings, and this book was no different. This book is full of laughter, happiness, anger and sadness. It will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I would recommend this book to anybody, and If you haven't seen the movie, than i recommend you read the book first, But if you've already seen the movie don't let that be a reason not to read the book, Although the main story is the same, there are pretty significant differences. Enjoy!

Everyday you wake up with something else chewed: A book, a slipper or a shoe. You have slobber all over your furniture, and pee stains on your carpet. Everyday you worry while your out "What mess are you going to come home to today?". Still, nothing can compare to the experience of owning a dog, the feeling they give you when you walk into the door, and they are there to greet you ever single time, with a thumping tail, and a few licks on the hand or face. In good times and bad, they always give unconditional love every single moment of the day. When they get in trouble, they look at you with those heart-melting eyes, begging for forgiveness and you can't help but give in. A dog is sincerely the very best friend a person can have. They love you for you, no matter how wacky, crazy, boring or smart you are. From the moment you bring them home, they hand over their heart to you, trusting you with it. I am a proud owner of 3 dogs and yes, it is a crazy, full house, But I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Every time I come home, all 3 of them are jumping over each other fighting for the first pat on the head, the first kiss hello. When I just walk past them, they roll over, asking me to make a quick belly rub stop. I've had countless shoes go missing, along with socks. I wake up in the mornings freezing because they are all sleeping on top of my covers. Life is never boring with them around. They keep me busy, and things interesting. I love them more and more everyday. I am thankful I have such wonderful dogs.

This was an incredible book, with a devastating story. The Book surrounds Two Families, The Harte’s and The Gold’s, and more importantly their children. Emily Gold and Chris Harte have known each other and have been inseparable since birth. They grew together as best friends, and then in their early teens became lovers. The Relationship was much stronger than other "Teen Romances", they were meant to be together. They were soul mates. Then Tragedy struck, With Emily now dead, and Chris injured but still alive from an apparent suicide pact that the two of them arranged. This Book was an amazing story but very sad. The Book goes back and forth between the past and the present, eventually leading up back to the day that Emily and Chris’s plan unfolded. This Book will make you feel a whole range of emotions, it will make you laugh, and make you cry. This is a novel that needs to come to the big screen; there was a “made-for-T.V” movie but it did not do the book justice at all. Jodi Picoult has made it to my favorite authors list, and has yet to disappoint me.

Micah and Katie set up a camera in their house, believing that their house is haunted. Only it isn't the house that is haunted, it is Katie. This film surprised me; it wasn't as predictable as I thought it was going to be. The film concentrated a lot on Character development, for the first half of the movie, not too much paranormal action happens, you are more focused on learning about this couple, and getting to know their personality. As the movie goes on, and as the paranormal occurrences progress, you can notice a big change in the characters, especially Katie, She went from being this happy-go-lucky person, to someone who is miserable and mentally exhausted. What makes this movie "Scary" is that from the film promotions you are to believe that this house is haunted, but you learn early on in the film that it is not the house that is being haunted, it is Katie. There is no getting away from it. The Movie spans out over 20 Nights, The first few nights, the activity is minimal, if anything at all, but it still leaves you nail-biting because you are sitting there in the dark, and silence, waiting and expecting something to jump out, it still gets your heart thumping. After the first few nights the activity gets worse and worse and start to get physical. This isn't your typical "Ghost Story" movie. This film is a cross from "The Blair Witch Project" and "The Exorcist". This is a great film to see with your friends, or to watch cuddled up on the couch with the lights off. The only complaint I have about this movie is the ending. It is definitely worth the Watch.
"How Far Would You Go For the Love of a Lifetime?" If you like love stories, then you'll love this book. Coming from the Author who wrote "The Notebook" Nicholas Sparks does it again with another emotional love story. If you are planning to read this book, Make sure you have the Kleenex near by. The story is told by John Tyree, a troubled 23 year old, Who drops out of school to enlist in the army. While on leave, John is back home in Wilmington, North Carolina. It is then, that his whole entire life changes, He meets Savannah Curtis a 21 year old College student. Savannah and John Fall in love almost instantly, and just when John should be released from his time in the Army, 9/11 happens, and John's life will never be the same. This book had me in tears throughout the whole thing. You learn of John's relationship with his father, and with Savannah. This book will definitely tug on your heartstrings. I highly recommend that you read it, Male or Female. It's an incredible story.
